The Australian Journal of Public Administration

The Australian Journal of Public Administration (AJPA) is committed to the study and practice of public administration, public policy-making, and public sector governance.

The AJPA is published digitally each quarter with over 5,000 institutions around the world licensed to access the publication. All IPAA Victoria members or employees of organisation members have full access to the Wiley Online Library journal page via a dedicated portal and app.

Why should you read the AJPA? The Journal encourages research, reflection and commentary across a range of public sector settings – international, federal, state, local and inter-govermental.

Four different manuscript types each with their own underlying rationale:

  1. Research Articles
  2. Research Notes
  3. Forum Articles
  4. Practice and Policy pieces.

All submissions are double-blind refereed as standard practice.

Access to the AJPA

The AJPA is free for all IPAA members. You can access the latest edition of the AJPA and an archive of past editions via the IPAA National website. Please contact membership@vic.ipaa.org.au to receive your password.
