Navigating the Victorian Public Sector Procurement Landscape

Genevieve is Director – Operations at AcademyGlobal, delivery parter of IPAA Vic for procurement and contract management capability programs for the Victorian Public Sector. Genevieve manages AcademyGlobal’s strategic partnerships with organisations including the University of Queensland, the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply, the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport, the Institute of Public Administration Association (IPAA) NSW and IPAA Victoria. She is the NSW Representative for the Australian chapter of Women in Logistics and Transport (WiLAT) in CILT.  

Matthew is a Procurement Professional with 20 years of successful leadership and management experience. He has led business systems change and developed communication and resource management skills to regularly deliver on-budget business solutions. 

Since 2018 Matthew has been working in the Legal and procurement space. Prior to that, he worked as a Financial Analyst focusing on Capital Works reporting. Matthew considers himself a commercially astute decision-maker, strategy developer, and experienced organisational transformational specialist. As a Procurement Professional he draws on his training as a CPA and his qualifications in Social Sciences and Business Finance every day. Procurement has been a challenging and rewarding environment for Matthew. 

As Associate Director Category and Vendor Management at RMIT, Louisa leads a team of Category Managers and Vendor Managers in forecasting and managing RMIT third party contractual requirements. Having started her procurement career in state government, she continues her interest in advancing public sector commercial and contract management via IPAA as well as the World Commerce and Contracting Association.     

James has been working in the Procurement Field for the last 16 years across the Public Services of UK and Australia, at Local, County, State and Country levels. His areas of interest are Professional Services and Construction. His current role is as a Senior Business Partner within Parks Victoria.
