2024 Communications Insight

In this event, the Communications Community of Practice will present the annual keynote event for communications and engagement professionals in the public sector.    

Communication professionals are increasingly being recognised as trusted advisors in many organisations, including the public sector. This shows a growing appreciation for communication skills and insight across various organisations.

This trend also presents challenges such as determining the role of communication within an organisation and the potential overlap between communication advice and operational or policy advice. Communication professionals must learn how to effectively manage these potential conflicts.

Join your community of peers as David Stockman, 2024 Annual Keynote guest speaker, shares his unique insights and highlights from his time leading communications for the public service. 

With a wealth of knowledge from his time as a journalist, extensive career in the Victorian Public Service and now with the Australian Public Service, David will share his reflections in conversation with Victorian Public Sector Commission Deputy Commissioner, Ella McPherson.
