Course overview

You will gain a comprehensive overview of Grammar and Punctuation’s impact for building your reader’s trust and understanding through:

  • highly interactive, hands-on course involving a wide range of learning activities
  • understanding the impact of grammar and punctuation for building trust and understanding
  • implementing new knowledge of contemporary grammar and punctuation into your writing.

Course outcomes

Participants will walk away from the course with an in-depth knowledge of:

  • the rules and conventions of modern English grammar and punctuation
  • grammatical errors and learn how to write in an active voice
  • common spelling errors, problem pronouns, and other communication ‘gremlins’
  • the correct use of apostrophes, capital letters, commas, semi-colons, hyphens, abbreviations and more.
